Jason and I were tasked with creating a film full of sensory wonder, combining the stunning visuals of Italian life with its equally arresting sounds. We wanted to compose a symphony of onamatopeic VFX and foley that would create an energetic and upbeat soundtrack of an authentic, modern Italian life, reflecting the boost one gets from a natural, healthy breakfast on the go.

We shot in the beautiful cities of Genoa and Milan, experiencing the classic and the modern worlds of Northern Italy. Supported by the fantastic service team from 20 Red Lights, alongside the narrow streets and breathtaking cityscapes of Genoa and Milan, we ventured off road to the countryside towns of Alba and Barolo to seek hilltop town vistas and moments of natural calm, shooting in monasteries, cafes and gardens.
